dada.booth is an automated, procedurally-generated, usually browser-based photo booth experience that has gone through multiple Processing and p5.js iterations and permutations.
Originally realized as a collaborative effort to exhibit at dadageek’s inaugural student showcase in 2016, dadabooth matured into a stand-alone immersive experience. We’ve further refined dadabooth to exhibit at Brown State of Mind’s Estival At Urban in 2017 and as a part of the vurv “Hello, World!” group exhibition in 2018.
Chris and Adam refactored dadabooth into dadaboobooth for the Museum of Human Achievement’s Selfie Gauntlet during the 2018 East Austin Studio Tour.
