Nanophotonic Passiflora stores energy converted from artificial light using nanophotonic crystals. It uses this energy to illuminate and communicate with its species. Visitors of the LoopMass Museum of Botanical History can shine flashlights at the leaves of the Passiflora and watch it respond in greeting.
